After being away from our TVs far too long, Cassie Steele will be returning tomorrow night with ‘The L.A. Complex’. The first 6 episodes have already aired in Canada. Now it’s time for the U.S. to get a look at this edgy new show about young hopefuls trying to make it big in Hollywood.

Cassie was nice enough to take the time out of her day to do a Q&A with her fans at Go-Dark.net. We discuss the show, her music career, and more in the questions below.

Who do you think is closer to your personality - Abby or Manny? Manny

Besides Abby, who’s your favorite character on The L.A. Complex?
I like Jonathan Moore’s [Connor] role. He has such a surreal battle within himself- good TV!

If you had no other prior obligations (no work, etc) how would you spend your day?
Spending time with my personal petting zoo. I have two dogs (Peanut & Bug) and a Goffin cockatoo (Bella).

What’s your absolute favorite book?
“The Fairy Book” it’s filled with some of the earliest fairy tales from all over the world. My favorite is “Little One Eye, Little Two Eyes, and Little Three Eyes”

What’s your favorite lyric you’ve ever written?
I can’t tell you, it’s not out yet!

What have been your influences while making your new album - whether they be music related or not?
I guess a bit of everything.. some [influences] deeply rooted, of personal experiences or relationships or be it something simple like a passing comment.

What’s your favorite song on the album?
Umm.. well I haven’t heard them all finished yet, but I would have to say “Mad”. Read More »
